Sonajhurir Adda was honestly one of the most peaceful places I visited near Santiniketan. The moment I entered the property, the calm environment, greenery, and fresh air instantly felt relaxing. The resort is surrounded by nature, which makes it perfect for a short escape from busy city life.
What I liked most was the peaceful atmosphere around the cottages and open spaces. Early mornings felt especially beautiful with birds chirping and the cool breeze from the nearby Kopai area. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable enough for a relaxing stay. Sitting outside with tea during the evening felt very refreshing and memorable.
The location is also a big advantage because popular places like Sonajhuri Haat and Khoai area are nearby, so local sightseeing becomes easy without long travel. The food was good, especially the Bengali dishes, and the staff members were polite and helpful throughout the stay.
One thing I felt could improve was the speed of room service during busy hours, and some maintenance work would make the property even better. But these were minor compared to the overall experience.
Overall, my stay at Sonajhurir Adda felt calm, comfortable, and close to nature. It is a great place for couples, families, or anyone wanting a peaceful weekend trip near Bolpur and Santiniketan
